Been prompted by @TheArtistsWeb for thoughts on selling at Christmas Fayres ... been at exhibition in Berkhampsted in last week and sold some clocks, here are some thoughts...
Research where you are selling before hand and how much people will be prepared to spend - the event may not be aimed at people making fairly quick decisions about spending say £100 - better to take some cheaper items like cards etc. along too (or in my case cheaper clocks) at a few pounds, people are more likely to pay out something like this - and remember you in the future. And give them a business card with your contact details on - who knows, later on they might want to spend more, or may have seen something costing more and want it later on.
